Exhibitions: The Secret Art Sale Exhibition of Habitats & Heritage, formerly the Environmental Trust , based in Twickenham, has this week revealed the names of artists whose work has been sold.  The artworks relate to local environmental issues, in my case, a drawing and  etching, created in memory of  lost trees at Mitcham Bridge.  https://habitatsandheritage.org.uk/

Black Gold….

Fossilised sea lilies (crinoids) are used as indicators in oil exploration.  Most petroleum is formed, in marine sedimentary rocks, from abundant fatty-acid rich plankton, upon which crinoids feed. (Gk.Kronoeides ‘lily-like’)
